We are proud to announce that our HomeCHEF built-in oven has won the International Red Dot Award for Product Design 2014.

The HomeCHEF impressed the 40-strong jury of industry experts with its advanced features and interactive colour touch display technology.

HomeCHEF features cutting-edge electronic controls which allow users to select the appropriate dish from the programmed settings. This enables preset changes of temperature, cooking mode and time for the selected dish, resulting in perfect dishes every time. The model has a 60 litre capacity, contains pre-programmed information in 30 different languages and it is extremely energy efficient with an A energy rating.

Jernej continues: “Our designers and engineers have crafted the HomeCHEF with complex technology which is controlled by an intuitive and logical user interface which is simple to use for anyone, from beginners to seasoned chefs. The model also has a pyrolytic self-cleaning function which is easy to use and saves time – helping to make life that little bit easier.”

A record number of designers and companies from 53 countries around the world took part in this year’s Red Dot competition. With 4,815 entries, the Red Dot Award for Product Design received the highest-ever number of entries and at the same time added some new countries to the list of participants.
