The colourful character has been chosen, and the lucky winner is now the proud owner of a bright red Gorenje washing machine.

We had some bright, bold, beautiful and quite frankly bonkers entries on the @Gorenje_UK Twitter page, all from people who thought our competition was just too good to miss!

Our list included a ‘baby Banksy’ who showed us his colourful side with various pieces of ‘art’ around his mums house. A whole range of characters in fancy dress, one person even converted a wheelie-bin into a bath… and used it!

Our much deserving winner is mum to be Rachael, a teacher for people with special needs. Her colourful character nomination was for her mum who painstakingly knitted a rainbow elephant toy, for her very soon-to-be new-born baby.

Rachael said, “I am delighted to win the gorgeous red washing machine, as I'm expecting my first baby any time now and we are in the process of finding and moving from our one bed flat into our first proper family home.
